STARK Næstved

STARK in Næstved was built as a timber merchant facility and office headquarters, with a primary load-bearing glulam structure and timber facades.

Woodconstruction was responsible for the installation of the glulam structures as well as the installation of timber cassettes for two halls totalling approximately 10,000 m².

The structure is characterised by large cantilevered rafters with diagonal spans of up to approximately 8 metres at the corners, creating shade and protecting the timber facades.

The installation requires handling large elements, where sequencing and stability during assembly are crucial to maintaining progress.
