Kultårnet – Kulkransporet, Aarhus Sydhavn

Woodconstruction is involved in the construction of Kultårnet as part of Kulkransporet in Aarhus Sydhavn, in collaboration with Færch & Co. and Kaj Bech A/S. The project transforms a former industrial area into a new recreational urban space with connections, areas for staying, and views over the harbour.

Woodconstruction supplies and installs the glulam structure for Kultårnet. The structure is part of a project where glulam interacts with existing concrete and steel structures. The elements are exposed, and tolerances are tight. This places high demands on precise design, coordination, and installation from the outset.

Kulkransporet is being developed based on the area’s industrial character and is currently under construction.
