HOFOR’s new operations and administration building on Amager was constructed with a load-bearing glulam structure and designed by Gottlieb Paludan Architects.
Woodconstruction was responsible for the design, supply, and installation of the glulam structures.
The project was carried out as a fully covered installation using overhead travelling cranes, ensuring stable conditions throughout construction.
The structure includes large roof trusses, each weighing more than 4 tonnes, which placed demands on planning and handling during installation.
