Hovedstadens Forsyningsselskab’s new operations and administration building on Amager is constructed with a glulam load-bearing structure and built with Jakon A/S as the main contractor.
The client places high demands on sustainability, and the building is sustainability-certified to DGNB Gold.
The operations building is constructed with a glulam load-bearing structure and features facade and roof cassettes from Roust Element.
The building is fully covered, and the construction was carried out protected from weather conditions using four overhead cranes. Each of the six large roof trusses weighs more than 4 tons.
