We are the structural frame contractor for Guldfeldt A/S in the construction of Otterup’s new "Byens Hus" – a modern library and citizen service center, designed by the architectural firm REX BIRK with DRIAS as the engineering consultant.
With its central location on the town square, the building brings life to the city centre and strengthens both local commerce and community, becoming the town’s natural gathering point. The house is constructed in timber, with a focus on sustainability, flexibility, and future needs – with CO₂ emissions significantly below current regulatory requirements.
Byens Hus will be an open, inviting meeting place with a library, citizen service centre, café, study environments, and flexible spaces for community and activities for everyone.
