Fjord & Bæltcentret in Kerteminde is a new educational building constructed with timber as the load-bearing structure.
Woodconstruction was responsible for the design, supply, and installation of the glulam structures.
The structure includes curved glulam beams, with much of the timber left exposed in the completed building.
This places demands on both design and execution, where precision in geometry, connections, and installation is crucial to the final result.
