Woodconstruction is erecting the structural shell for the main contractor H. Skjøde Knudsen A/S at the new Fjord & Bælt Centre in Kerteminde. The building will serve as an inspiring space for education and experience. Wood has been chosen as the primary construction material, playing a central role both aesthetically and environmentally. The natural material contributes to a warm and welcoming atmosphere while supporting the ambition of a low carbon footprint. Fjord & Bælt thus becomes a place where one not only learns about nature and climate, but also experiences it in practice. The project is funded by the A.P. Møller Foundation and Kerteminde Municipality.
