Woodconstruction A/S is responsible for the assembly of the entire structural shell contract and the load-bearing structure, which consists of a glulam column-beam system and CLT floor slabs. In addition to its use as an office building, the structure is intended to be multifunctional, featuring an open ground floor with a market hall and a canteen that transforms into a public restaurant after normal working hours. With its unique location between Nordhavn and Østerbro, the building will serve as a communal space for the local area.

Construction in CLT and glulam at Marmormolen in Copenhagen: AP01. The building is being constructed by the Pihl Consortium, consisting of Pihl & Søn, LM Byg, and M.J. Eriksson, and will become one of Denmark’s tallest timber buildings upon completion. Woodconstruction A/S is responsible for assembling the load-bearing structure.

Marmormolen is an ambitious project that sets new standards for large-scale timber construction and will be certified DGNB Platinum. With its 28,000 m², 36 meters in height, and CLT used in the load-bearing structures, the project will provide invaluable knowledge for future timber constructions.
