Post-and-beam glulam structure with CLT floor slabs in larger commercial buildings

AP01 at Marmormolen is a large commercial building for AP Pension, constructed by the Pihl consortium and designed by Henning Larsen Architects.

Woodconstruction was responsible for the installation of the load-bearing timber structures.

The structure consists of concrete cores and a post-and-beam glulam system with CLT floor slabs.

In a project where timber, concrete, and steel come together in many connections, execution places high demands on the build.
Tolerances and installation sequence, in particular, are crucial for making it work in practice.

Our role has been to ensure a stable installation process and a solution that works coherently on site.
