Woodconstruction is responsible for the installation of the entire structural framework, which consists of a glulam column-beam system and CLT floor slabs. In addition to serving as an office building, the structure is designed to be multifunctional, featuring an open ground floor with a market hall and a cafeteria that transforms into a public restaurant after business hours. With its unique location between Nordhavn and Østerbro, the building will serve as a community hub for the local area.

Construction in CLT and Glulam at Marmormolen, Copenhagen: AP01. The project is being developed by Pihlkonsortiet, a consortium comprising Pihl & Søn, LM Byg, and M.J. Eriksson. Once completed, it will be one of Denmark’s tallest timber buildings. Woodconstruction A/S is responsible for the installation of the load-bearing structure.

Marmormolen is an ambitious project that sets new standards for large-scale timber construction and aims for DGNB Platinum certification. With 28,000 m² of space, a height of 36 meters, and CLT in its structural components, the project will provide invaluable insights for the future of timber construction.
